What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Not worrying about tomorrow, just enjoying being alive today
What is your greatest fear?
1. Being paralysed 2. Famine and being forced to eat rats and toads

Oversensitivity, extreme stubbornness, perfectionism … I could go on

Being passionate about the things I love

Bigotry, hypocrisy, lack of respect for others
What is the trait you most like in others?
Generosity, kindness, open-mindedness
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
When I was 7 years old, I went to school without a skirt on. Everyone in my class laughed and laughed. I was wearing thick, opaque tights but I still remember being mortified!
What is your greatest regret?
Not learning Polish when I was a child and forgetting all my other languages
What is your favourite book?
Difficult to choose just one. I loved “Ghostwritten” by David Mitchell
What is your favourite film?
It changes every week. An old favourite is The Graduate
What is your greatest extravagance?
Good food and wine, travelling abroad
What is your most unappealing habit?
Whinging, especially when hungry or tired
What is your favourite fantasy?
Living by the beach in a warm climate with people I love, eating great food, having a really fulfilling, well-paid part-time job and lots of fascinating hobbies and opportunities to travel the world. Is that asking too much?
Do you believe in monogamy?
Yes. I’m not good at sharing

Really?
How do you relax?
Yoga, swimming, cooking, socializing, drinking wine, reading a good book
What single thing would improve the quality of your life?
A huge cash injection

Love yourself, you deserve it!
What keeps you awake at night?
Eating strong cheese before I go to sleep
How would you like to die?
Peacefully, painlessly, feeling contented with my life (and not for a while yet!)
Do you believe in life after death?
I find the idea of reincarnation quite appealing- in theory
How would you like to be remembered?
As someone who made the most of her life
What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
To try and make the most of your life every day, to appreciate what you have and to try and look on the bright side
